There was recently a Facebook page, called 'Lee Rigby was a Rapist,' which existed for no other reason than to make up disgusting lies about this man, who was murdered in cold blood. Apparently the page had sick posts on it, saying he 'deserved everything he got' and accusing him of being involved in right-wing politics and unsavoury activities. Of course, this page was removed and caused a furore about the disgusting individuals that were uploading vile messages to it. Quite a few angry people had plenty to say about muslims, immigrants and the softly-softly approach towards them. The English Defence League garnered more support because of this page.
It now transpires that it was actually members of the EDL that started this page and they were the ones that were posting all the despicable lies. It was intended as black propaganda against muslim immigrants and as a recruitment aid for the EDL. It certainly seemed to work until their cover was blown!
Another filthy lie made its way onto the internet during the week. Just like the scenario outlined above, it was intended to turn everyone against one group of people. I am talking, of course, of the mythical singing about Lee Rigby by Celtic fans at Brentford. One, I repeat, ONE 'Brentford fan' put a complaint up on Twitter about this alleged singing. This was closely followed by some 'Celtic fans' saying that they had heard it and how disgusted they were. Strangely, however, nobody else, including the majority of the Brentford fans (i.e all of them minus this supposed 'one') and the police. The local press down that way are actually sceptical about it happening at all or that the complainants have anything to do with Brentford or Celtic. I wonder who they really were?
I'll give you a clue as to who they might have been. I had a look at some of the Brentford forums to see for myself what the fans were saying. The first Bee up on the forum quoted the Twitter message. He ended with the slogan, 'You're always victims; it's never your fault' Now, I wonder which sort of person would direct that to the Celtic fans? Need more clues? One Brentford fan had heard nothing and questioned if the singing had actually taken place. He was told, by another 'Brentford supporter' to 'Fuck off Timmy!' I think we know what kind of sleekit scum would come out with a sentence like that!
Supposedly there was a 'riot' at Brentford, with somebody trying to 'break the goalposts.' A crowd of Celtic supporters ran onto the pitch, that was all. The police saw it as good-natured and only made one arrest. Meanwhile ONE guy was swinging on the crossbar. Now, I know that the XXXXXXL size of your average Ersatz supporter makes it a certainty that if one of them swung on a crossbar (provided he didn't have a heart attack trying to climb up) the whole frame would come crashing down. Normal people, however, can swing on one with no ill effects.
The Ersaters, meanwhile, are patting themselves on the back for their 'wonderful behaviour' at Sheffield. This behaviour included dusting off the banned song book for its first airing in public since that day in Berwick. Again, some of the praise of the Ersatz support on the Owls' forums looks a bit suspicious, especially when they start to accuse the police in Bretford of being 'Celtic-supporting Catholics' for not arresting anyone! One or two genuine Wednesday supporters were a bit concerned about the songs the Ersatzers were singing but they were shouted down by the other 'Owls fans.'
So, in reality, the whole 'Lee Rigby song' affair was made up by the Ersatzers to paint Celtic fans in a bad light and to give them an excuse for their arse-licking banners. They're a bit like what used to be called in the USA '200% Americans.' Usually these were movie makers and showmen of immigrant stock that would go way over the top in patriotic displays in order to be accepted by mainstream Americans. A case in point was George M Cohan's often vomit-inducing musical extravaganzas. The Ersatzers are desperate for the English to like them and, it seems, will go to any lengths to try to achieve this. The shadow of Manchester 2008, however, looms over every effort they make!
I had to have a laugh at something on Bill McMurdo's blog today. Talking of today's march by people with ginger hair in Edinburgh he says:
'Sadly, there is still a propensity among adults as well as children to mock and taunt anything which is different or not normal. I should know – I have been persecuted for years for being so handsome.
This mocking of things outwith the perceived norm means that overweight people, extremely skinny people, people with birthmarks or unusual features and not-so-bright people get singled out for abuse and taunts.'
With not even a hint of irony he seems to be decrying the insults hurled against people for being different. And yet, his own blog provides a welcoming outlet for bigots galore to hurl insults at Catholics!
Finally, I saw something unusual in The Sun the other day. As is normal in this rag, they were banging on about a family of immigrants. This family has sponged off the tax payer for years, even having their large house paid for them, as well as getting free health care, free travel and free home help. One of the younger members of the family and his wife have just had a baby, which the tax payer is going to have to pay for. They are also being rehoused, again at the tax payers expense! Strangely, though, The Sun did not take their usual condemnatory tone, instead seeing this as something to celebrate!
