ALBION MONCHENGLADBACH

It seems that Ersatz Rangers are now ready to take on the world. A resounding victory against the mighty Albion Rovers means that they are now ready to take on SPL teams and even the best that Europe has to offer. Mark Hateley is banging on about how Ersatz is ready to be a 'flair' team. So it's just going to be like last season when everybody wiped the 'flair' with them!

Bill McMurdo sees at as something great too and contrasts it with Celtic being beaten by Borussia Monchengladbach! That's right, of course, because Die Fohlen are on a par with the greatness that is Albion Rovers! Talk about sad.

And, as they usually do, they compare crowd sizes. Of course, they forget two things; two important things. The match against Gladbach was a friendly. Friendlies are never usually well-attended; players all scared to tackle and about a hundred substitutions don't make for an enjoyable match! There are also these things called families. The days of men ruling the roost and just sauntering off to football matches without a by-your-leave are gone for most people. Nowadays it's hard enough to get to see matches during the season without going to a meaningless match when the kids are on holiday! Of course, the Ersatz supporters have no such problems; any wife complaining about Ibrox meaning more than her and the kids will soon find herself in the Southern General!

And surely the Ersatzers should keep quiet about crowds when the only way they can fill Ibrox is by selling the tickets for ten bob each; and even then 'The Peeppul' won't pay full price, but pretend to be juveniles to save money!

Meanwhile Nacho Novo claims to be disappointed that Sooperally isn't interested in signing him. I rememer the last time somebody wasn't interested in Novo and then he lied through his teeth, making out that he was the one that turned down Martin O'Neill! I wonder if he's going to 'write' another book!

Oh, and as usual, they're concerned about child abuse; but only if it takes place among Catholics! I suppose that's their first question when they find out that somebody's a paedophile: is he a Catholic? If not, then he must be a much-maligned, innocent man! It's quite disturbing, really, the way these people actually want children to be abused, just so they can take the moral high ground!

The strange thing about the whole affair, as far as I'm concerned, is why these priests aren't being arrested if there is so much evidence against them? The police don't need the Church's permission to arrest a member of the clergy, so why aren't they doing so? Could it be that the Establishment are trying to brush it under the carpet in fear of some wider-ranging investigation? Some of the accusations levelled after Jimmy Savile died certainly point in that direction!

I still think the Orkney abuse scandal was was actually set up. Rather tackily, if you'll excuse me, this leads me to my latest novel on Amazon, which covers this kind of topic. I'll be giving half my profits, if any(!), to Children 1st. Before anyone thinks I'm too generous, that works out at 50p for them and the same for me! You don't make loads of money out of books unless you're JK Rowling!

Anyway, have a look here and see what you think. And if it seems too dear, the Kindle version is a lot cheaper but Children 1st will still get their 50p!

AN ORANGEMAN'S PRAYER

'O Lord, please let more of those Fenian bastards' children be sexually abused so we can cast it up to them. And we'd be doubly grateful if you would let it happen at Celtic Park. Remember, We arra Peeppul, so dae what yer telt! Amen.'
