THE REAL SEPTIC TANK

Stop me if you've heard this one. A historian was researching a local home for mothers and babies that used to stand near her town. She discovered the death certificates of many children in the local registers; nearly 800 in fact. Although there was a valid death certificate for each child, showing that they had died from various diseases that were rife at the time, like TB and the measles, there was no indication as to where they were buried.

It used to be that if you died poor, espcially in a workhouse or some such place, you would be buried in what was called a 'Pauper's Grave,' effectively an unmarked resting-place and often with other bodies buried in the same place. The local historian assumed that this is what had happened to the dead children from the home. There was a space behind where the home used to be, where the historian said was where the children were probably buried. For decades people have put flowers in this area and a small grotto was built in one corner, which lent weight to her conclusion.

Recognise this story? You probably recognise bits of it as the story has been changed in the telling. The local historian is Catherine Corless, who lives in County Galway, near the town of Tuam. The home was called St. Mary's and was run by the Sisters of Bon Secours.

By the time this story reached our media it had changed beyond all recognition. The children's bodies had been discovered 'dumped' in an old septic tank and nobody knew how they had died. Of course, this being a Catholic institution, and an Irish one to boot, tales of a 'cover up' soon gathered pace. Speculation started about how the children had died from abuse and neglect. And didn't the bigots in our midst just lap this up?

The real septic tank is the minds of these bigoted and racist scum, who were so desperate to pursue an agenda that they made no effort to check what the real story was. Will we see an apology from these English rags? I doubt it. And they expect us to vote 'No' in September and remain associated with this type of person! You can read the true story here.

Speaking of which, McMurdo had a link yesterday to the ex-UKIP member and Holocaust denier, Alistair McConnachie, detailing reasons why England should want Scotland to remain in the UK. I had a look and, as usual, it's all just a cover story for the real reason McMurdo etc are afraid of independence: Northern Ireland. Knowing full well that, as I've pointed out many times, the English couldn't give a dog's wank about Northern Ireland, McConnachie tries to frighten them with stories of new IRA bombing campaigns. What a load of shite!

Of course, McMurdo's disciples are all in agreement that a vote for Scottish independence is a terrifying prospect. As one puts it, "Next on their agenda would be for all of us too turn into RC’s " Where the hell do these morons get these ideas from?

Meanwhile WullieWontHe is back on with his cut-and-paste sermons. Today's lesson is all about John Knox. He says that Mary, Queen of Scots "was allowed to have mass at Holyrood; then there was a move for a broader toleration. That one mass, Knox said, was more terrible to him than 10,000 armed men landed in this country" So Knox is praised for being an old bigot? Only The Peeppul could see something like that as praiseworthy. What happened to all the 'royalty descended from David' shite?

The clown also bangs on about the use of 'open questions' these days in education, especially when it comes to God and the Bible. How dare they! Doesn't everyone know that the Bible should only be learnt by catechism and learning answers by rote? And these Peeppul call themselves 'free thinkers'?

And so onto matters Bisto and the news that the liquidators have spent about £2m so far in pursuing folk through the courts. Encouragingly, they're going after Duff and Phelps regarding the shady deal done with Charles Green. This obviously means that they were looking to do a proper liquidation and probably are still looking to do this. There might yet be a new Tesco in Govan!

Finally, have you checked out my book yet? If you haven't then get your arse over to Amazon now!
All the details are here.

Sooperally feels some liquidation in his drawers when he hears that BDO are going after the EBT 'loans'.
